Our designers are practitioners, trained and experienced in the science of communication design. When it comes to design, there is a right way and a wrong way and it has nothing to do with how you "feel" about it. Form follows function, and don't you forget it!
It's true that design does require creativity and lateral thinking to go from being right, to being great. But at the end of the day, there are observational, data indicated and quantifiable rules about human behavior which apply to it. In the same way that an experimental scientist will push the envelope of their specialization while living within the known rules of chemistry and physics, great commercial design is about increasing the effect on the audience while respecting the known data about how they will behave.
